Market Update: October Brings Positive Changes!
Home sales ticked up for the second month in a row, outperforming last year’s numbers! Although October's sales are still a bit lower than the long-term average, we're seeing encouraging trends.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲?
Recent interest rate cuts have sparked interest, with more buyers ready to jump in now that rates are easing. More rate cuts could mean even better buying opportunities on the horizon!
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀:
Inventory dropped slightly as sales outpaced new listings, shifting us from a buyer’s market to a more balanced one. This could be great news for sellers, while still offering buyers more options than in tighter markets. Prices have also steadied, with October’s benchmark at $820,800, just slightly below last month and last year.
