About the team

Teaching from knowledge and experience.

Everyone who teaches at Holistic Health and Healing brings the same commitment — movement that's safe, considered, and genuinely tailored to you. Our team combines clinical knowledge with real teaching experience. We're not a large studio and we don't want to be. Staying small means staying personal

Our Approach

The principles behind every session.

These aren't just values on a page — they shape how we teach, how we listen, and how we adapt to every person who walks through the door.

01

Clinically informed, individually tailored

Every session is designed around you — your body, your health history, your goals. Nothing here is generic; it's yoga shaped by clinical knowledge and tuned to what you actually need.

02

Safely challenged, gradually strengthened

You'll be challenged through holding and repeating postures — but always safely, always listening to your body. It's about building strength and confidence at a pace your body can sustain.

03

Filling the gap formal care leaves behind

Many people finish treatment for surgery or a long-term condition and are left without support — not quite ready for a mainstream class, but no longer receiving care. This is the space in between.

04

Led by clinical expertise, not guesswork

Dr Lindsay Welch holds a PhD in health sciences and works as a registered, practising nurse. Every posture and breath practice is adapted by someone who understands movement as treatment, not just exercise.
